PRIVATE TASTING EVENTS
We’d be happy to host groups in the shop for private wine tastings. We can pair up food and wine, we can just educate you on varietals or we can tailor fit a tasting just for you. We’re also hooked up at The Blue Room and we can arrange a tasting for you and 11 of your closest friends in their private wine room.
A bit to know first—all events at Central Bottle are conducted in our wine shop which means that there is no seating available and unless you decide on a buy out the shop remains open in full operation. We can accommodate organized groups as small as 10 or as large as 75 in the shop. We offer two formats—tasting events and cocktail events. Due to the fact that we have only one super talented Stacey Daley we require you book your event no less than seven days from the date you want to par-tay!
These events are tailored more towards education. They are better suited to a smaller group like ten to twenty people. We usually feature three food + wine pairings during the tasting event to focus on a region, a style or a grape.
These events are more like a casual cocktail party, but in a rather unusual place. Our fishbowl of a wine shop makes for a unique urban experience. We offer passed small bites (or cicchetti) and wine/beer for your guests. Different than the tasting event food is per person with wine/beer based on consumption.
Our big sister is The Blue Room in Kendall Square and we can put you in touch with the right people to have an intimate dining experience focused around food and wine. It is a small venue, but we can educate or simply leave you be in the hidden little private room.
